Some good things going on at Leesville!!!
Third grade had a great time at FFA's Food for America. They learned about cows, mules, horses, chickens, corn, soybeans, and pumpkins just to name a few. They also got to learn a little about FFA and it's history. The students had a great time and learned a lot about animals and farming. They were even able to interact with the animals. This is my second time going with a class and it's been educational, interesting, and engaging for the students. Thank you Clinton FFA for inviting us!
Third grade has been learning all about fossils and animals through dinosaurs! Yesterday students got to race a dinosaur! The students had to measure their leg length to determine which dinosaur would be the best to race against. Then we went to the gym and tried to outrun the dinosaurs. Unfortunately no one was able to outrun a dinosaur, but we all had a lot of fun!
